Reported pattern
- The world continues to feel artificial, distant, staged, or dreamlike while sober.
- The user may feel detached from their own body or identity.
- Episodes can occur outside the normal Stage III Drift and outside the immediate crash.
- Symptoms may fluctuate with stress, sleep loss, withdrawal waves, or renewed use.
Reality testing
Derealization does not automatically mean psychosis. Many affected users know that the world only feels unreal and can still identify the sensation as an internal perceptual disturbance.
